How to Book........

1.Check we have availability for your choice of activities and type of accommodation on the dates you want.

We will need to know:-

When you want to come (give alternatives if poss)
What your group is like (approx number/age range)

What types of activities you want

Where you are staying/travelleing from on the day this helps us with meeting times/venue etc

If you would like us to book accommodation -
what type eg B&B, 3* 4* Hotel, Group Accom
and/ or price eg £35pp - £120pp/nt

If you want minibus travel to from the activities included. (minibus taxi firm rates from £200/day)

The ages of any children (under 18's) and if anyone has any special needs we should know about to help them enjoy thier day.
Your email address and a daytime telephone number so we can check any information quickly.

2. We'll check availability with the accom instructors etc and email you with information on costs and any other relevant information.

Please note we cannot do 'provisional' bookings. First to Pay - Gets the Day!

If you are organising a group we recommend you get a commitment payment off everyone before you book numbers, as numbers can affect price. We can usually add extras (subject to availability). Late additions pay a little more to cover the hassle!.

Outdoor Adventure or Relaxation Breaks in the Lake District

The office is open most weekdays if we haven't gone out to play.

Grab us beetween 9.30am and 2pm if you want to discuss what you want.

Due to the high level of demand for our experienced and qualified instructors -booking in advance is essential. A booking can only be made when a deposit is received.

3. To book we ask a non-refundable payment

Bookings less than £250 in value must be paid in full at time of booking. From 2014 a small booking fee will be charged to cover admin (activity prices are not going up this year).

For bookings over £250 there is a 35% deposit required to secure your booking. The final balance is payable 6 weeks before the event. (See info on booking terms)

Payment is easiest made over the phone (there is no charge for debit cards, credit cards 3% surcharge)or by BACs. Tel 015395 35999

We will also need the following information :

the Group Organiser/Leaders mobile phone number for giving to the insutructor (for use on the day)

Any special needs or medical info that would be useful for the instructor to know so they can plan your activity properly ( we will always try and accommodate people's needs and desires but we may need to discuss things so we can work together to achieve this!)

4. On receipt of your deposit we will email you:

full details of the booking,
location directions, what to wear and any other relevant information
our invoice showing the non-refundable deposit paid and the date and amount the final balance will be due.

Please pass the relevant information about what to wear on to other group members.

NB - pack a map/atlas we've found Sat Nav can be very unreliable in the Lake District valleys one post code covers several houses - here these could be a long drive appart. Also many of our locations are not at houses! So use our directions as well as your sat nav......
